Ранний, начала 60-х, до 65-го. Flachentarnmuster. В просторечье "Blumentarn".

Вообще, очень мало информации о снаряжение раннего периода.

По камуфляжам ГДР:

Изображение
2 Color Amoeba
Official Name: (?)
Years Used: 1955
Used By: Army
Known Items: Poncho/Shelter
Notes: In 1955 the East German Army was issued a very heavy, uniquely constructed poncho/shelter combo. The material is akin to a very thick and stiff ripstop. It has a hood, contains several flaps, and other interesting features. The pattern itself is a two color Amoeba style and is similar to WWII Soviet patterns, one of which was in use with DDR Army forces in the late 1940s through mid 1950s.

(!Там еще две картинки, но не открываются - вероятно варианты расцветок)

Splotch (aka "Kartoffelmuster" and "Blumentarn")
Official Name: (?)
Years Used: mid 1950s - 1967
Used By: Army
Known Items: Jacket (with colar), Jacket (with hood), Trousers, Shelter/Poncho, Helmet Cover/Hood, Gasmask Bag, Waterbottle Cover, Assault Pack, 2 and 3 Mag Pouches, Signals Backpack, Mine Detector Pack
Notes: East Germany's first camo pattern for uniforms (as opposed to oversuits and shelters) was this gray Splotch design. It is an unusual pattern which probably worked well in Eastern Europe. Surplus and contract production items also showed up in many parts of Africa.
Besides normal color variations due to age/use, quality control was not all that strict so there are a lot of variations even on unissued items. Included above are three samples that show the wide range one can expect to see in the collector's market. I've classified them as Dark, Bright, and Medium based on the overall appearace. There are also variations in the quality of the printing as well due to clogged printing screens, offset printing, etc.

Rain Strokes (aka "Rain")
Official Name: (?)
Years Used: 1965-1990
Used By: Army
Known Items: Shirt, Trousers, Winter Jacket, Winter Pants, Para Shirt, Para Trousers, Helmet Cover/Hood, Cap, Assault Pack, Canteen Cover, 3 Mag Pouch, Shovel Cover, Grenade Pouch, Poncho/Shelter, Para Assault Vest, Webbing
Notes: In 1965 the East Germans replaced the Splotch pattern by adopting their own version of the recently fielded Polish Rain pattern. The two are easily distinguished by their construction and the details of the pattern itself. Oddly enough, the adoption of the Rain pattern did not stop production of Splotch for a number of years. In fact, I have a Splotch gasmask bag with Rain pattern cloth on the insde.
As a camouflage design, the Rain pattern must be considered a failure. It has almost no contrast at even a close distance and absolutely NONE when far away or wet. As a mono color uniform, the brown coloring was not a bad choice as it blends well with most environments. It was therefore simply a waste of time and expense to put the useless rain strokes.
